ORDERING GARLIC
You can place your Certified Organic Seed Garlic or Certified Organic Garlic Bulbs order several different ways:
- Our Online Garlic store (Open sometime in mid August)

- Or drop in to order or purchase and take with you. If you are going to drop in, it is best to call first and make an appointment to make sure we are here.
The most efficient way to ensure you are placed in our priority queue, is to call or email and pre-order your garlic. Alternatively, you could leave us your email address by clicking on our newsletter sign up and we will email you with the date our online store will open.
Pricing
We use a tiered volume pricing system. The more you order the less you pay.
- $0 – $200 No discount
- $201 – $400 – 10 %
- $401 – $800 – 15 %
- $801 – $1,600 – 20 %
- $1,,601 – $3,500 – 25%
For orders over $3,500 please call Dennis 604 316 1933. The volume discount applies to the entire order. As you add items to your order the shopping cart will automatically change the pricing to the discount level earned.
Accepted Forms of Payment
Payment for your order can be made on our website securely by credit cards (follow the prompts on the checkout). You can also phone 236.785.2636 or email info@greatgarlic.ca to make other arrangements. We accept personal checks and e-transfers to info@greatgarlic.ca for orders. For your own security, do not email credit card info.
SHIPPING GARLIC
We ship with Canada Post which we have found to be the quickest, most reliable and most reasonably priced method. We use their if it fits it ships boxes.
The medium box will fit 6 lbs or if you are buying by the bulb size for reference approximately 40 large bulbs. It ships for $25.00. Their large box will hold up to 11lbs or 70 large bulbs. If you are ordering larger orders that require more than one large box the shopping cart will automatically calculate the correct shipping charge but orders larger than 1 large box will qualify for a discount that will offset or more than offset the increased shipping charge.

Yes that’s correct same low price anywhere in Canada that Canada Post delivers to.
The minimum shipping price is $25 plus GST. The shopping cart will automatically adjust the shipping charge based on volume, size and weight of garlic bulbs ordered at checkout before you proceed with the order.
LOCAL PICKUP is free and is an option on the shopping cart.
WHERE AND WHEN WE SHIP GARLIC
We ship our certified organic garlic seed & certified organic garlic bulbs to Canadian addresses only via Canada Post. We start shipping in early September on all per-orders first, and any orders received after September 1st will be shipped within one week from the order date. A tracking number will be provided.
INSPECTION OF GARLIC
Upon receiving your certified organic garlic order, it is important to open it and visually inspect it to confirm you that have received what you ordered, and there has been no damage in transit. It is also important to remove the garlic from the box and store them in a cool, dry environment in a container that allows for air circulation. Orders that have not been opened and inspected cannot be guaranteed as over time, like any vegetable or produce if left in a closed environment with no air flow, it can spoil or mold.
